Far more than just a drive. An experience that gives you the feeling of showcasing a true icon – one that is met with awe and admiration wherever it goes. Not only because of the unmistakable body design of the 1970s Corniche Convertible, but also because of the bold choice of a new colour that adds an unforgettable touch. Halcyon redefines the perception of this luxurious classic car without altering its original identity. Despite being enhanced with electrification, a reimagined interior and cutting-edge electronics, it remains a Rolls-Royce rich in heritage, adding a distinguished new chapter to those of the past.
Highland Heather - Halcyon’s first completely remastered Rolls-Royce Corniche
Since 2023, the British brand Halcyon has set itself the task of ushering selected exclusive classic car models from Rolls-Royce and Bentley into a new era. It’s never merely a matter of professional restoration, but rather about incorporating state-of-the-art technologies, bespoke craftsmanship and the owners’ individual design preferences. The ‘Highland Heather’ show-cases what the company can do: from the 500 PS electric powertrain based on an 800-volt architecture – developed by its sister company Evice – to the multilayer paintwork, which is painstakingly hand-polished after each coat, to the redesign of the interior, transforming the vehicle into an elegant two-seater in line with the customer’s wishes, whilst incorporating discreet, modern comfort features such as the high-end audio system. Halcyon brings a legend to life, preserving the essence of the original whilst offering top-class quality that matches – or even surpasses – that of new cars. Could there be any better way to implement sustainability?
The Great Eight Series – 6.75-litre L-Series V8
The best of both worlds. Pure indulgence, chosen with intention. Working closely with the customer, Halcyon develops unique visions, ensuring that every desire is fulfilled. And for those who do not own their own classic Rolls-Royce or Bentley, Halycon helps you to acquire one of these gems. It goes without saying that a remastering of this calibre is strictly limited. Even more so when you take a closer look at the effort involved in reinterpreting the iconic 6.75-litre V8 Corniche: a full 5,000 hours of handcraftsmanship have gone into the Grand Tourer from Halcyon’s Great Eight Series, which has been restored from the ground up.
'We set out to create the best versions of these cars for today, and The Great Eight Series builds on our philosophy through a distinctly mechanical experience. The L-Series V8 is one of the great engines of its time, loved for the way it made a car feel and for the effortless way it delivered its performance. We’ve taken that character and elevated it, refining both its performance and the way it delivers it. Alongside our electric interpretation, it offers a distinct expression of the same Halcyon standard, defined by mechanical character and a true sense of occasion.'
Matthew Pearson, Co-Founder and CEO of Halcyon
Alongside gleaming metal and chrome elements, the finest natural materials such as wood and soft leather have been used for the interiors of The Great Eight Series model, which has been stripped back to bare metal and now – featuring state-of-the-art technology – shines in a deep green lustre. The rich, resonant sound of the engine is an essential element of this gem, as it is integral to its character. And even though the remastering costs may incline you to consider buying a new model instead, in the end it is the uniqueness of this one-of-a-kind model – crafted by Halcyon with the highest standards of design and engineering – that makes the difference. This car evokes a sense of joy that only true icons can.
