Speedster variants have been part of Porsche’s corporate history since 1954. But there is a gap: only two Speedster models emerged from the 993 series. But this is exactly the type of car that Porsche enthusiast Trazzi wanted for his collection. He decided to build his dream car himself. With his sketchbook full of design ideas, he turned to the Porsche Sonderwunsch team to ensure the original quality standards with factory guarantee. An inspiring collaboration began – including a works ID for the designer.

Curved lines, an interplay of convex and concave shapes, expressive colours and extravagant patterns: Luca Trazzi’s design visions for the Speedster result in a unique production. The completely redesigned bodywork line for the rear lid with the two humps sets a contemporary, stylish accent, while the shortened windscreen typical of the Speedster picks up on the elegance of the previous models. Black door handles, exterior mirrors and wheels contrast with the luminosity of the Otto Yellow.
Luca Trazzi’s Speedster also goes the extra mile when it comes to technology: the power pack of the 911 Carrera RS Type 993 is installed under the bonnet and at the rear: chassis, steering, braking system and the air-cooled six-cylinder boxer engine, the most powerful of its time with a capacity of 3.8 litres, give the Speedster powerful, 300 hp driving dynamics. The front spoiler, side skirts and rear fenders of the 993-generation 911 Turbo were adapted for the sporty appearance. Newly interpreted lights, indicators and integrated four-point daytime lights radiate zeitgeist, which is also reflected in the modern infotainment system. A visual eye-catcher in the interior: the black leather sports seats with yellow decorative stitching, each with an artistically hand-stitched yellow and black checkered pattern in the centre section. With Luca Trazzi’s unique design, the third 911 Speedster 993 has reached the finish line. As the first completed factory one-off, it represents the most exclusive expression of a customised vehicle transformation. Porsche is thus setting completely new standards, taking the Sonderwunsch programme to the next level. With almost limitless possibilities.
